Friday will be a fairly seasonable day with a mix of sunshine and clouds. We expect only an isolated shower from midday on; the vast majority of the area will be rain-free.

The weekend will turn increasingly warm and humid. A weak weather disturbance can tough off spotty showers and storms Saturday, especially in the afternoon. The chance for a stray shower or storm will be lower on Sunday.  Heat indices will reach the lower 90s Sunday afternoon.

Hot and muggy weather is set to continue early next week. Some relief will arrive during the second half of the week.
