The sixth annual Greatest Golfer, Longest Drive Contest took place Thursday evening at the Tippecanoe Country Club. There were 27 participants in the contest, broken into three groups.
CANFIELD, Ohio - The sixth annual Greatest Golfer, Longest Drive Contest took place Thursday evening at the Tippecanoe Country Club. There were 27 participants in the contest, broken into three groups.
In the senior group, Bob Leonard claimed first place with a drive of 250 yards.
In the ladies group, Felicia Drevna of Canfield captured her third consecutive first-place finish at the event with a drive of 225 yards.
Finally, for the men's group, Nick Braydich of Struthers, drove the ball 310 yards for the victory.
Following the longest drive contest, the night concluded with the par-three under the lights contest, which went into a tiebreaker.
Josh Zarlenga won the contest with 12 points, beating Scotty Porter who scored 11.
