If you put your recycling bin out at the curb last week in parts of Mahoning County and were wondering why no one picked it up, you are not alone.

The Mahoning County Green Team's Louis Vega tells 21 News that they were down one recycling truck driver at the beginning of the week.

The team brought in a replacement driver late last week in an attempt to catch up, but some streets in Austintown, Canfield, and Campbell were passed over, according to Vega. Also, by the time the truck came around, many people brought their bins back in or took them to one of the area recycling centers.

As a result, people who usually take their recyclables to one of the recycling centers may have found the bins to be overflowing with material.

Curbside pickups are back on schedule according to Vega.
