Pennsylvania and Ohio Attorneys General are joining the fight against illegal robocalls.

Attorneys general from all 50 states and Washington DC reached an agreement with 12 major phone companies to stop you from receiving robocalls.

Those companies include Verizon, AT&T and T Mobile.

They have agreed to deploy a new call blocking technology to customers for free.

They will also use screening technology to see if a number has been 'spoofed' to look like another number.

They'll also trace robocalls to the source and prosecute the callers.
