The Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced it will conduct an OVI checkpoint in Austintown tonight.

According to a news release, Troopers and local police will set up the checkpoint from 10:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. Friday on New Road in Austintown.

The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols according to the patrol.

There is also a checkpoint in Columbiana County on State Route 170 in Calcutta.

The patrol also plans a third checkpoint sometime Saturday in Mahoning County.

Troopers say they'll announce the locations of the checkpoint Saturday morning.
