HOWLAND, Ohio -  The Howland Township Police say a 14-year-old girl has been reported missing

Police say Anita Torres was last seen on August 30 at the Canfield Fair and has been reported missing by her guardians.

According to the report, the teen's foster mother went to pick her up from the Fair around 9:30 p.m. on that day but Torres refused to get in the car and yelled profanities at her foster mother.

Reports say her foster mom described Torres as very street smart and that they were having discipline issues with her recently.

Police say her foster mother believes that Torres could be with her biological parents in Cleveland but when she contacted them they said they haven't seen her.

Torres was placed with her foster family in December 2018 by Cuyahoga Child Services.

According to the report, Torres is currently on probation through Cuyahoga County.

Torres is described as a Hispanic female with dark black hair and brown eyes.

She is 5'1" tall and weighs 120 pounds.

Police say Torres may travel to Cleveland, Canfield or Warren.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact Howland Police at 330-856-5555 or 330-675-2730.
