YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A new restaurant and pool hall is set to open soon in downtown Youngstown.

The Thirsty Peanut will be located on the second floor of Liquid Blu Nightclub on West Federal Street.

Vincente Turner, one of the owners of the Thirsty Peanut says he hopes the spot will become a laid back place for locals to have a good time.

"We wanted to create something nice for the people downtown and the surrounding areas to have a place to come after work for happy hour or on the weekend to have a good time and shoot some pool."

Turner hopes the Thirsty Peanut will attract people that aren't into the night club scene.

"There are a lot of night clubs down in this area, but a lot of people aren't into the club scene, so we made something more intimate and more secluded for the people that want to just come down, play some pool, eat some food and do their own thing."

The new pool hall is scheduled to open during the first week of November.

Their menu features chicken wings, french fries, burgers, Pastelillos, and more.
