Suspect in Niles bar shooting back behind bars

WARREN, Ohio -
A Warren man set to go on trial next month in a deadly bar shooting in Niles earlier this year is back behind bars.
Ryan Daniels, 28, is charged with domestic violence and a parole violation, stemming from an incident involving an alleged female victim over the weekend in Warren.
Police spoke with the victim at Trumbull Memorial Regional Hospital, who claims Daniels assaulted her. She claims a verbal fight turned physical and alleges Daniels threw her around a residence and punched her in the face one time.
The victim says she fought back and punched him in the face. Police say they did notice Daniels had a swollen right eye and a bloody lip when he was questioned about the incident.
Earlier this month, Daniels withdrew his guilty plea to a charge of reckless homicide in the death of Niles's mom Brittany Mazanec.
Mazanec was shot inside her vehicle in the parking lot of the Hideaway Lounge Bar and Grill off of Route 422 in late February. She later died at a hospital.
He was out of jail on a $100,000 bond before his arrest on Sunday evening.
Daniels remains in jail without bond. He's expected to be back in court later this month in relation to the domestic violence case.
The homicide trial is scheduled to begin on November 12.
