The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a trailer fire shut down the southbound lanes of Route 11 in Canfield early Monday.

A tractor-trailer pulled over to on Route 11 before 4 a.m. after the brakes on the trailer caught fire.

The tractor was separated from the trailer as the trailer became fully involved in flames.

Troopers say southbound Route 11 was closed just before the Shields Road overpass, between the Mahoning Avenue and Canfield interchanges.

The left southbound lane opened shortly before 4:30 after the fire was put out.  Both lanes were open again after 6 a.m.

There are no reports of injuries.
