Sharpsville issues boil alert

SHARPSVILLE, Pa - A boil alert has been issued for some Sharpsville residents.
The alert applies to the Low System, which is areas north of Quarry Way from the Sharon line to Covert Avenue and north to the river.
Officials say there was a water line break at the Quarry Way tank
Residents will likely need to boil water until the problem is fixed, which officials are anticipating to be sometime on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute and cool before using.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
Bottled water will be available to those who need it at the Borough Office starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
