Lisbon man facing sexual abuse charges involving children

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Lisbon man is facing several sexual abuse charges involving children.

Thirty-four-year-old Heath Allen Rankin was indicted Thursday by the Mahoning County Grand Jury and faces five counts of importuning, one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and one count of gross sexual imposition.

According to the indictment, Rankin caused two juveniles between the ages of 9 and 11 to have sexual contact.

Rankin is also accused of having sexually explicit conversations with children.

The alleged crimes happened in 2017 and 2019.
