Trumbull Regional Medical Center and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital are both enacting visitor restrictions, meaning visitors will not be allowed in those facilities until further notice.

A spokesperson for those locations said it is due to an effort to protect patients, visitors and health care workers.

Visitor exceptions will be made for pediatric patients, Mother/Baby, end-of-life situations, Emergency Department visits and other patient circumstances. All of which will be determined by the care team and will not exceed more than 1 visitor at a time.

All visitor and vendor exceptions entering the hospital must enter through the main entrance and be screened in the main lobby.
