Texas Roadhouse CEO passes his pay to employees for rest of 2020

The CEO of Texas Roadhouse is forgoing his salary for the rest of 2020.
Kent Taylor decided to forgo his salary and any bonuses he would receive from March 18 through early next January to pay workers effected by the coronavirus epidemic, according to published reports.
The chain restaurant known for its laid-back atmosphere, affordable steaks and table peanut buckets has two locations in the Mahoning Valley. One is located in Boardman on Route 224 and another can be found in the Eastwood Mall complex.
Both locations have been open during the coronavirus pandemic for takeout.
“The bottom line is these are challenging times, and we are all in this together. We will continue to do our best to adapt to your needs and help support every community we serve in a safe way. Thank you again for your loyalty to Texas Roadhouse,” said Taylor.
“We will never take your trust for granted and, remember, local communities across America will be stronger on the other side of this crisis.”
