Youngstown police are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon on the city's west side.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon on the city's west side.

A man driving a pick up truck told police he was traveling on Mahoning Avenue when a gun shot broke a window out of his vehicle.

He said he was either grazed by the gun shot or was injured by the broken glass in his head.

Police tell 21 News they believe the shot or shots came from a plaza located on Mahoning Avenue near Dunlop.

Authorities said the man's injuries are non-life-threatening.
