Pennsylvania cases surpass 50,000 as signs of slowing continue
Coronavirus cases across Pennsylvania rose by more than 800 Monday, another sign of slowing across the state.

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Coronavirus cases across Pennsylvania rose by more than 800 Monday, another sign of slowing across the state.
Cases now total 50,092 and 14 new deaths since Sunday brings the toll to 2,458.
Locally, Mercer County cases remain at 66 with one death, while in Lawrence County, cases remain at 65 with six deaths.
Governor Tom Wolf plans to release guidance Monday for businesses permitted to reopen on Friday, May 8 in the 24 counties he moved to the "Yellow Phase" of reopening, which includes Mercer and Lawrence Counties.
