Warren man sentenced for attempting to molest hospital patients
A man who once transported patients to St. Joseph Hospital in Warren has been sentenced to prison for sex convictions.
Michael Brown, Jr. of Youngstown appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald Rice who handed down a sentence of six-and-a-half years in prison.
Prosecutors say Brown, Jr. was charged after being accused of attempting to sexually assault a 59-year-old woman and an 88-year-old woman.
The incident involving the 88-year-old victim happened in the elevator at the hospital while she was a patient, according to investigators.
Brown pleaded guilty in February to 12 felony sex offenses that included gross sexual imposition, attempted sexual battery, voyeurism, sexual battery, illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, and pandering sexually oriented matter involving minors.
