CANTON, Ohio - Delta Airlines has announced it is suspending flights in and out of Akron-Canton Airport for at least the next four months.
Starting May 13, Delta says it will suspend service at 10 locations with more than one Delta-served airport to allow more frontline employees to minimize COVID-19 exposure risk while customer traffic is low.
People who fly Delta out of Akron-Canton are being advised to use Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Delta, which expects the suspensions to last through at least September, has announced an 85 percent reduction in its second-quarter schedule, which includes reductions of 80 percent in U.S. domestic capacity and 90 percent internationally.
