$150,000 gift means upgrades for Warren's JFK School

WARREN, Ohio - The Cafaro Foundation has made a $150,000 gift to John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Warren.
The school will use the donation to upgrade the school’s science labs, replace a gymnasium floor and bleachers, improve outdoor athletic facilities, and replace original kitchen equipment in the dining hall, according to a media release from the foundation.
Over the past six years, the Cafaro Foundation has gifted $200,000 to JFK.
School President Joseph Kenneally said the facility upgrades “will complement our state of the art technology offerings, innovative curriculum, meaningful testing, and commitment to the arts."
The school currently enrolls 590 students in grades Kindergarten through 12.
The Cafaro Foundation is a charity established by the Cafaro family in memory of William M. Cafaro, the founder of the real estate development and management company that bears his name.
