MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has announced that there will be multiple sobriety checkpoints in the area this weekend.

The checkpoints are scheduled to run between Friday and Sunday with saturation patrols throughout the county.

Details, including the location and time of the checkpoint, will be released later this week.

The location is usually released on the day of the checkpoint.

OVI checkpoints are planned to deter impaired drivers. Anyone drinking should prepare rides in advance.
