Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Warren post are investigating a two-vehicle crash Saturday involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened at 9:20 p.m. on S.R. 82 at Warren Sharon Road in Howland Township.

Neale Huston, 41, of Girard was traveling eastbound on S.R. 82 in the left turn lane at Warren Sharon Road on a black 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Jose A. Croal, 67, of Warren was traveling westbound on the SR 82 westbound exit ramp to Warren Sharon Road in the left lane in a gray 2019 Chevrolet Suburban.

Troopers said Huston turned left across the 82 westbound exit ramp lanes to Warren Sharon Road into the path of Croal and was struck by the vehicle.

Huston’s motorcycle overturned and ejected Huston and his passenger, Melissa Huston, 38, of Girard.

Both were taken to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital by Howland Township EMS with critical injuries.

Croal was not injured.

Two of Mr. Croal’s four passengers received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The 82 westbound exit ramp to Warren Sharon Road and the 82 eastbound exit ramp to Warren Sharon Road eastbound were closed during the crash investigation but have since re-opened.

The Howland Township Fire Department and Howland Township Police Department assisted at the crash scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
