WARREN, Ohio - If you've been missing concerts this summer that have been canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic, Saturday night in Warren was a treat.

The Elm Road Triple Drive-In Theatre hosted a special Garth Brooks virtual concert experience.

The prerecorded concert was nationwide, with 300 screens airing the concert for one night only.

21 News spoke with people driving to their parking spots about why coming out to experience things like this is so important, especially during this time.

"I'm not much of a Garth Brooks fan, but I just saw the Garth Brooks movie on Netflix, and I said, what the heck, it's summer out, beautiful show, good entertainer, good times," said virtual concert-goer Pappi Hanzel.

Tickets were $100 each and the concert was hosted by Encore Live.

One owner at the drive-in said that about 400 vehicles were at the event, but the final numbers won't be available until Sunday.
