Money will be coming to the Valley to help ease the burden of the coronavirus pandemic.
State Rep. Al Cutrona, R-Canfield, announced the COVID-19 relief that's coming to local areas from the federal CARES Act.
Boardman Township will get $251,297; Canfield City will get $35,413, Canfield Township will get $19,298 and Poland Township will get $17,143.
The money will support a range of pandemic-related expenses, including the work of first responders and other local services.
The Ohio Controlling Board approved the coronavirus relief funding on Tuesday, and the move will provide millions in total for Mahoning County, Cutrona said.
