OVI Task Force release results of weekend checkpoints in Boardman
Three summonses were issued for driving under suspension, 1 summons for drug abuse, and 1 citation issued for fictitious plates.

BOARDMAN, Ohio - Members of the Mahoning County OVI Task Force and Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted two sobriety checkpoints over Labor Day Weekend in Boardman.
According to a press release, 176 vehicles passed through the two checkpoints located at 4121 South Avenue and another on Route 224 at Marinthana from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Three summonses were issued for driving under suspension, one summons for drug abuse, and one citation issued for fictitious plates.
