The much-anticipated week 4 high school football match-up between the Austintown Fitch Falcons and the Warren Harding Raiders is even making some noise in Cleveland. The game is on a poll on the Cleveland Browns website and Twitter (@Browns) to be nominated for the "Cleveland Browns High School Football Game of the Week."

Each week, panelists nominate four games for fans to vote on. The winner receives extended game coverage across the Browns website and social media channels. This year's panelists, according to the Browns website are Matt Fontana, Jason Gibbs, Andrew Gribble and Chomps.

The winning team from the selected Game of the Week – weeks 1-6 of the high school regular season – receives $3,000 for their high school football program. The winning coach and game MVP will be honored with custom Coach of the Week game ball and a Browns varsity letter for the MVP. At the conclusion of the season, the Browns announce the High School Coach of the Year, who will earn an additional $6,000 for their program.

The match-ups for this week are:

Warren G. Harding vs. Austintown Fitch

Trinity vs. Cuyahoga Heights 

Harvey vs. West Geauga 

Holy Name vs. Rocky River

 

As of now, the Trinity vs. Cuyahoga Heights match-up is winning the poll at about 41 percent, while the Harding vs Fitch matchup is at 20 percent. 

The Austintown Fitch Falcons have a perfect 3-0 record halfway through the shortened 2020 season, while the Warren Harding Raiders sit at 1-2, respectively. Kickoff between the Falcons and Raiders is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18th, 2020 at Falcon Stadium in Austintown.
