Joe Biden makes train tour campaign stop in Alliance, Ohio

ALLIANCE, Ohio - Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, made a campaign stop as part of an Amtrack train tour in Alliance, Ohio Wednesday afternoon.
Following Tuesday night's debate, Biden spoke to a crowd of supporters, many of whom lost jobs after the closing of the GM Lordstown plant.
The presidential candidate briefly touched on topics that affect the Valley and the nation as a whole, like bringing back manufacturing jobs to the area and supporting middle-class workers as well as coronavirus and the situation surrounding filling Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Supreme Court Seat.
"Donald Trump broke his promise. He told Ohio workers no more factories were going to close and would help the forgotten American. as soon as he won, he forgot them. The middle class built this country, and the unions built the middle class. I won't forget those people."
Biden also spoke on his experience following the first 2020 presidential debate in Cleveland Tuesday.
"Last night reinforced to me why I got in this race in the first place, for the battle of the soul for the country," said Biden. "The president's lack of regard to speaking on COVID, election legitimacy, and his inability to condemn white supremacy groups has never been done by any president before."
Biden added, "The president of the United States conducting himself last night the way he did is a national embarrassment.
