The Literary Society of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County is hosting a free online event, 'A Virtual Evening with Adriana Trigiani,' the author of 18 bestseller books in fiction and nonfiction.

The Thursday, Oct. 29 event is free, and will start at 7 p.m.

Registration is required and Zoom information will be sent to those who register. Those interested in the event are advised to register early as virtual attendance is limited.

While the event is free, donations are accepted. For a $20 donation or more, the donor will receive a Library mask.

 

Trigiani novels include “Tony’s Wife,” “Kiss Carlo,” “All the Stars in Heaven,” “The Supreme Macaroni Company,” “The Shoemaker’s Wife,” the “Big Stone Gap” novels and more. The event is sponsored by The Muransky Companies, Carol E. Bacon Literary Society Fund, Frank & Pearl E. Gelbman Charitable Trust. Trigiani also directed the recent film, "Then Came You,” which was released Oct. 2 on digital platforms, starring Craig Ferguson, Kathie Lee Gifford and Elizabeth Hurley.

“The Literary Society is comprised of generous individuals who care deeply about the Library and would like to bring to our community special programs, including noted authors, to celebrate reading and literacy,” said Deborah Liptak, Library Development Director.
