Possible suspect in Canfield cat dumping case identified
Earlier this week, investigators circulated surveillance video recorded of a man placing an object in a dumpster.

YOUNGSTOWN - A Mahoning County Sheriff's Detective says he believes they have identified a man seen putting a cat into a dumpster in Canfield Township on Sunday.
However, Detective Patrick Mondora tells 21 News that the name of the suspect will not be released until charges are filed.
Earlier this week, investigators circulated surveillance video recorded of a man placing an object in a dumpster behind Youngstown Tile near Route 224 and Palmyra Road.
The next day, employees found a blue tabby cat in the dumpster. The cat was taken to Angels for Animals. However, the cat did not survive.
