PennDOT has lifted the speed limit and vehicle restrictions that were in place on Interstate 80.

Due to the winter storm impacting the region, speed limits were reduced yesterday to 45 mph on all interstates and several other routes in the region. All speeds are restored to their usual posted limits.

Level 1 vehicle restrictions for the interstate remained in place until 11 a.m. Thursday.

Portions of I-80 westbound and eastbound are open again in Mercer County after being closed late Wednesday due to a crash involving multiple vehicles.
