UPMC Mercer hospitals receive first doses of Pfizer vaccination

According to UPMC vaccine distribution to hospital staff will begin Friday to front-line healthcare workers.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was delivered Thursday to UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley and Greenville as well as UPMC Jameson in New Castle.

UPMC deliveries were made by UPS.

Vaccine distribution across the United States began earlier this week.

According to UPMC vaccine distribution to hospital staff will begin Friday to front-line healthcare workers.
