HOWLAND TWP., Ohio - Police in Howland are looking for a man accused of robbing a bank in Howland Township Monday afternoon.

According to police chief Nick Roberts, The robbery occurred around 1 p.m. at the Chase Bank located on Elm Road.

Chief Roberts says the suspect passed a note to the teller asking for money and indicating that he had a weapon, however, no weapon was seen.

Cheif Roberts says the suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash.

No one is in custody yet but police describe the suspect as a white male, around 6'4", skinny, wearing blue jeans, a hooded gray coat and an orange bandana that was worn over his face.
