Report: Man admits doing 'stupid stuff', arrested in Warren

WARREN, Ohio - A Ravenna man who admitted to a Warren Police Officer that sometimes does “stupid stuff” spent the weekend in jail and now faces criminal charges.
Roger Graves, 64, has been charged with discharging firearms and carrying a concealed weapon.
After hearing gunshots near Fourth and Main Saturday night, an officer says he spotted Graves standing outside his car at the intersection.
According to the report, Graves got into his car and began to drive away but stopped when the police cruiser was in front of him.
After being ordered to get out of his car, the officer saw Graves was wearing an empty holster.
After other officers arrived Graves was handcuffed, and his car was searched.
Police say they found a loaded handgun under the seat, as well as two full magazines, a knife, mace, a weighted leather club known as a sap, a stun gun, and brass knuckles. Graves told police he had the weapons because he works as a security employee at a bar.
The report says Graves does not have a license to carry a concealed weapon.
According to the report, Graves admitted firing his gun into the ground twice, adding that he does “stupid things sometimes”.
The officer says Graves told them he was driving around, got upset, and decided to shoot his gun.
Graves was scheduled for arraignment in Warren Municipal Court on Monday.
