The Ohio Department of Health released data on the number of individuals who have received their second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The information is available on the vaccine dashboard on coronavirus.ohio.gov.

The dashboard will have a drop-down menu at the top of the screen that allows the user to choose between ‘Vaccine Started’ and ‘Vaccine Completed.’

This allows the user to view second dose information by age group, race, ethnicity, and sex.

“The second dose of the vaccine is very important because it further booststhe immune response to ensure long-term protection,” said ODH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff. “Showing this data on our dashboard will help show how many Ohioans are protected from COVID-19."

So far statewide, 882,796 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine and 199,902 people have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

In Trumbull County, 14,461 people have received at least one dose and 2,315 people have received both doses of the vaccine.

In Mahoning County, 19,838 people have received at least one dose and 4,005 people have received both doses of the vaccine.

In Columbiana County, 7,150 people have received at least one dose and 1,533 people have received both doses of the vaccine.
