MECCA TWP., Ohio - Trumbull County Sherriff’s deputies are looking for a driver who crashed a car into the gazebo in the heart of Mecca Township late Sunday.

Firefighters say they were called out just before midnight to answer reports that someone ran into the gazebo at Routes 46 and 88 and was now waving a gun.

State troopers and deputies were called out.  At last report, the driver was still on the run.

According to the Mecca Volunteer Fire Department, no one else was found at the accident scene.

The gazebo and the car were heavily damaged.
