PINE TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - State police in Mercer County say two men have been charged after a domestic argument turned violent.

Stacy McConahy, 35, of Grove City was booked into the Mercer County Jail on Sunday on a charge of aggravated assault with an attempt to cause bodily harm.

McConahy and 29-year-old Ryan Ehrman of Butler are also charged with simple assault and harassment.

The men, described as boyfriends by police, were arguing on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township when the confrontation escalated to pushing, striking, wrestling and hair-pulling.

Police say one of the men slashed the other with a utility knife, causing large cuts to the victim’s chest and arms.

Police did not identify which of the men was slashed, nor the current condition of the victim.

Bond for McConahy was set at $25,000.
