Sports facilities and venues in Ohio are allowed to have a limited amount on fans.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that indoor venues are starting at 25% capacity and outdoor venues such as Progressive Field in Cleveland and the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati are allowed 30% capacity.

"It's a start and the way we expect the spring and summer to go, we hope to expand as we move forward," stated the governor.

DeWine emphasized the masks are mandatory, there must be a spectator pathway and seating must be in pods of no more than six people.

The pods will be socially distance by the mandatory six feet protocol.

Mahoning Valley General Manager Jordan Taylor was happy with the governor's announcement of 30% capacity.

"This allows is to have roughly 2,000 fans for any event," stated Taylor. Eastwood Mall Field hosts many high school baseball games prior to the Scrappers season.

The Indians released they'll have 10,000 fans for April home games.

Tickets availability will be determined monthly until things return to normal.
