AAA warns of potholes as spring begins

With spring officially here, potholes are also arriving following the winter months in Northeast Ohio.
AAA says this winter's temperature intense conditions have taken an early toll on the country's roads.
The organization says drivers should try to avoid hitting potholes if possible to help keep money in their wallets.
Each year Americans spend $3 billion on pothole damage repairs.
"Not only do potholes pose a safety risk to motorists, they can really leave a dent in your wallet," says Mike Hoshaw, vice president of automotive services at AAA East Central. "The problems range from tire punctures and bent wheels to more extortionate repairs like suspension replacements."
AAA says to look ahead, try to avoid puddles that could actually be potholes and to recognize noises and vibrations if you do hit a pothole.
