Maplewood soccer coach dies after being hit by car

The Maplewood Girls' Soccer Coach has passed away after he was struck by a car while trying to clear a tree away from the road in Fowler Township.
The accident happened Friday around 6:45 a.m. on Bradley Brownlee Road, east of Route 5 after strong winds caused damage and power outages across the Valley.
Troopers said 30-year-old Bradley Ronyak of Cortland was driving along Bradley Brownlee Road when he saw a tree had fallen across the road.
Ronyak got out of his vehicle to remove the tree, which is when another car hit him, according to troopers.
The man in the other car was not hurt.
Troopers said impairment is not a factor in this crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
There's no word if any charges will be filed.
Ronyak was also an auto collision technology instructor at Trumbull County Career and Technical Center.
