A new business opened its doors Saturday in Struthers.

Twisted Scizzorz opened at 71 Terrace Street across from City Hall.

Owner Delani Rae Haas named the shop Twisted Scizzorz, a spin on the name of the band Twisted Sister, because of her love of 1980's hair metal music.

Mayor Cat Miller and Haas held a ribbon cutting at the location Saturday afternoon.

Haas says the shop does more than just haircuts, including custom hair color, lash and hair extensions, makeup and more.

She said the location is close to home and is happy to be apart of the new businesses moving into the Struthers area.

A unique program at Twisted Scizzorz is the 'I got your six' program, where Haas offers $6 haircuts to law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, veterans and military personnel.
