Sheriff: 48 marijuana plants found during Leetonia explosion investigation

LEETONIA, Ohio - Forty-eight marijuana plants as well as grow lights were found in Leetonia during an explosion investigation, according to Columbiana County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin.
Officials were called out shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday to the house on State Route 558 for a fire and explosion. The primary damage from the fire was in the basement.
McLaughlin says that during the investigation, they found the marijuana plants and grow lights but charges have not been filed yet. He says those won't come until after lab results.
