YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Poland man will spend the next four years behind bars after pleading guilty to charges in a deadly crash.

Investigators say 32-year-old John Wardle was driving drunk and high when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch along Route 164 in Beaver Township in July 2019.

28-year-old Mohammad Musleh was a passenger in Wardle's vehicle and was ejected and killed during the crash.

Wardle pleaded guilty in February to charges that include aggravated vehicular assault and OVI.

Wardle's license will also be suspended for six years.
