A Pittsburgh man is in the Lawrence County jail after he was arrested as a suspect in two robberies in New Castle.

Dorian Brockman, 35, faces eleven criminal counts including robbery, aggravated assault, flight to avoid apprehension, and a weapons violation.

Police say a man robbed the Pennsylvania Skill Games on Wilmington Road Wednesday using a handgun equipped with a green laser sight.

Minutes later police learned of a robber who used a gun with a green laser sight to rob the Speedway gas station on North Jefferson Street.

Officers from New Castle, Mahoning, Union, and Neshannock Township Police departments searched the area and spotted Brockman, who they say tried to escape.

After a foot chase, Brockman was arrested behind the Skyview Tower apartments.

Police say they found a bag containing a 9 mm handgun loaded with 16 rounds and with a green laser attached.   They also found $1,052 in the bag.
