Gas line rupture causes evacuation in Austintown neighborhood
Police shut down the intersection while firefighters used equipment to locate where the gas had spread.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - Crews cleaning sewers in an Austintown neighborhood ruptured a natural gas line on Friday forcing about a dozen families to evacuate their homes.
The gas line was cut at around 11 a.m. at the intersection of London and Rome Drives in the Capitol Estates development off Route 46.
Police shut down the intersection while firefighters used equipment to locate where the gas had spread.
Workers from Dominion East Ohio are on the scene making repairs.
