Water restored after Niles water main break, boil alert in effect
A boil alert is now in effect for 422 from the mall to 46, Gypsy, Frederick and Johnny Cake.

NILES, Ohio - After restoring water due to a water main break, a boil alert has been put into place for some residents.
The water line break was reported after 8 a.m. Wednesday next to the Niles Auto Spa on the 5800 block of Youngstown-Niles Road.
Officials reported that some businesses and residents on 422 and in the surrounding area temporarily had no water due to the break.
A boil alert is now in effect for 422 from the mall to 46, Gypsy, Frederick and Johnny Cake.
