Police are searching a Youngstown neighborhood for a woman suspected of assaulting a police officer.

According to police, an officer was called out to investigate a report of a suspicious car in the area of Loveland Road and Windsor Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

After seeing a woman in the car, the officer opened the car door.  That's when the car drove off, striking the officer, according to police.

The car was found later and police began looking for the driver in the area, going door-to-door and using a tracking dog.

The suspect shouldn't be too hard to identify.  Police say when last seen she was wearing a white tank top and nothing more.
