Warren police ticket Columbus man found with pot, pills in car

Holy Roller, Key Lime Pie, 10th Planet, Lilac Diesel; are the names of marijuana and marijuana products seized by police during a traffic stop in Warren.
Officers say they pulled over a Red Dodge Charger on Tod Avenue SW Tuesday afternoon to see if the tinting on the windows was within the legal limit.
Saying they could smell marijuana; police asked the driver to stand on the curb with his young son as they conducted a search of the car.
In addition to finding more than $1,000 near the car’s console, police say they found a book bag containing fourteen bags of pot labeled with the name, weight, and THC content of the products.
Police say they also found a vape cartridge, four bars of suspected marijuana edibles, as well as empty resealable bags, and a scale.
The search also turned up some pills, which the Columbus, Ohio man said did not belong to him.
Officers measured the car window’s tint at only 13%, well below the legal limit of 50%.
The driver was issued a ticket for the drugs and allowed to drive away.
