JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Mahoning County, Ohio - Multiple fire departments are on scene in Jackson Township dealing with a barn fire.

First calls for the blaze went out around 11:10 a.m.

Firefighters arrived at a home on the 2900 block of N Lipkey Road to find a horse barn on fire.

No one was inside and all three horses were able to escape the flames.

The homeowners say they have another area to house the horses following the blaze.

Jackson Township fire officials say the barn is a total loss.

The cause of the fire has not been determined as of this writing.

Jackson Township, Lordstown and Austintown fire crews responded to the scene.
