Power is back on in Hubbard and Youngstown Tuesday morning after a few hundred people were left in the dark Monday night.

People living in those areas contacted the 21 Newsroom about the outages in Hubbard City and Township around 11:30 p.m.

Hubbard community Facebook pages were also buzzing about the issue.

FirstEnergy only listed a few scattered outages in Hubbard city and less than 100 in the township at the time.

Hubbard Mayor Ben Kyle posted that FirstEnergy had an "electrical event" that caused the issue.

Lights in Hubbard came back on around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

At about the same time almost 600 Youngstown homes were without power.

FirstEnergy has not said the reason for that outage and Youngstown dispatchers were unaware of the issue when 21 News contacted them overnight.

Power was restored to those homes around 1:45 a.m.
