Panerathon returns to Youngstown on October 3rd
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A local tradition will return this fall as the Panerathon comes back to the Youngstown-Warren area.
The Panerathon will celebrate its 12th year on Sunday, October 3, at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown.
The 2021 Panerathon will kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month raising money for the Mercy Health Foundation and the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center.
Registration for all Panerathon events begins at 8 a.m. on October 3. The 10K Run/Walk will begin at 10 a.m. with the 2-mile Run/Walk beginning at 10:05 a.m. The Kids Run will start at 11:30 a.m.
More than 12,000 participants and spectators took part in the 2019 event, raising $530,000.
To date, the Panerathon has raised more than $3 million for the Mercy Health Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.
