Local deli to hold promotion in August, will benefit Animal Welfare League

YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown's Kravitz Deli is celebrating National Deli Month by donating to some of the Valley's shelter animals.
For every 10 boxed lunches Kravitz sells, they will donate $10 to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County through the month of August.
President of Kravitz Deli Jack Kravitz called the promotion 'Boxes for Boxers,' and says that he and his Corgi Dylan are very excited about it.
"Boxed lunches became very popular with our customers, as they are a safe and thoughtful way to enjoy the deli's offerings," said Kravitz in a press release. "We have had businesses sponsor boxes for employee appreciation lunches and essential worker meals at the hospitals, nursing homes, and factories."
Kravitz' boxed lunches come sealed withthe choice between a sandwich, pickle, and chips, or a deli salad and a cookie. Their sandwich choices include corned beef, turkey, ham, or pastrami and require a 24 hour notice for orders.
"With the schools coming back to in-person learning, it would be great welcome back for the teachers and staff as they prepare for the school year," said Kravitz.
Kravitz Deli is located on 3135 Belmont Avenue in Liberty, and can be contacted for orders at 330-759-7889.
