Man killed in Sebring house fire identified

SEBRING, Ohio - The man killed in a Sebring house fire in July has been identified.
The Mahoning County coroner said 74-year-old Lawrence Sweely was killed after his home caught fire around 10 p.m. Saturday, July 24, on the 400 block of West New York Avenue.
Sebring Fire Chief Michael Springer told 21 News that the fire started in the living room, but the cause is still undetermined.
A train passing through the area slowed the fire department's response to the home.
Chief Springer said a train was moving through Sebring at the time, blocking three different paths to the home.
The home was a total loss.
An autopsy was done by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, but a cause of death was not officially released.
The incident remains under investigation by the Sebring Fire Department and the coroner's office.
